Logan's annual spelling bee is coming up in May. This year every grade will participate. Even Kindergarten!

Kinder-2nd will be Tuesday, May 13
3rd and 4th will be Thursday, May 15
5th and 6th will be Friday, May 16

Right now students throughout the school are studying their spelling lists and getting ready for the contest. The top two spellers from each class will participate in the main event.

Many Logan students participated in World Math Day today, solving as many math problems as they could. More than one million students from over 150 countries participated in the event this year. Great job Logan students!

We have great news for all the readers at our school. We have begun the Accelerated Reader program. Accelerated Reader is a program designed to encourage and reward students for their reading.

After completing a book, students can login to Accelerated Reader and take a short quiz. If they pass the quiz they earn points. After earning enough points, students may earn recognition and rewards. It's fun, and it's starting now!

Our school will reopen Tuesday, January 22nd.
Intersession begins Monday, January 7th.

Our annual holiday program will be Thursday, December 20th. There will be three performances during the day, at 8:00am, 9:00am, and 1:00pm. Classes from Kindergarten to Sixth grade will be performing some great holiday songs. Come join in the fun!
